The problem nobody was solving right.
Home service businesses spend serious money to make the phone ring. Ads, listings, all of it. And then the call comes in while the whole crew is out doing the actual work, and it goes to voicemail. The lead's gone. The money's gone. We watched this happen over and over, and we noticed something: everyone selling a fix was selling the same thing, another "AI receptionist." But that misses the point. The real problem isn't that you need a receptionist. It's that you're bleeding revenue you already paid for. So we built Recoup Desk to lead with recovery, getting those leads back first, and running your front desk second.
Why I built this.
I'm not a marketer who picked this problem off a list. I lived it.
I've started and run businesses for years, so I know what it costs to get a phone to ring. But this one started at my own house. Every time I needed a plumber or an HVAC company, I got the same thing. Voicemail. Nobody picked up. These were local shops I found right on Google Maps and through their own ads, so I knew they were paying to show up in front of me. And by the time anyone called me back, I'd already booked their competitor.
That stuck with me. These businesses were spending real money to reach people like me, then losing us the second the phone rang. Not because they didn't care. Because the crew's out on the job and nobody's at the desk to answer.
I'm deep in the AI world, and I knew this was fixable. So I built Recoup Desk to close that gap. To catch the calls these shops already paid for, before the lead walks. That's the whole reason we exist. I watched good businesses lose money they didn't have to, and I wanted to stop it.
